Following the outcome of the meeting of the general assembly on the 24th of August, 2024, the Senate has been given the official approval to commence the review of the constitution of NANS Diaspora, with the constitution review committee made up of only members of the senate.

As such, the Senate urges the members of the general Congress to send suggestions and recommendations for parts of the Constitution that should be amended to the official email of the senate – senate@nansdiaspora.org.

In a letter to the general Congress on 25th August, 2024, the chairman of the constitution review committee, Sen. Polycarp Yakoi urged members of the congress to be careful, thorough and objective when making recommendations.

The committee chairman also asked that submissions be sent soon, as the Senate has decided that all recommendations be sent no later than 31st August 2024. This is to help them finish the review as soon as possible to aid the upward and continuous growth of NANS-D.
